Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and ResuLens governing your use of the ResuLens application. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

ResuLens provides AI-assisted resume tailoring, ATS-style scoring, interview preparation, a job listings board, and application tracking. AI output is generated automatically and can be inaccurate or incomplete — review everything before sending it to an employer. ResuLens does not guarantee interviews, offers, or any job-search outcome, and is not a recruiting or employment agency.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country).
• One person per account; accounts are not transferable.

Your content

You own your resumes and everything you create with them. You grant us only the limited license needed to store and process that content to provide the service (for example, sending resume text to our AI provider when you request tailoring). We do not use your content to train AI models. Deleting your account deletes your content as described in our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and billing

• The free tier includes limited monthly AI usage. ResuLens Pro is a monthly subscription billed through Stripe, currently $19/month with a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Account & Billing; you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period.
• Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable — cancel during the trial to avoid being charged.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to create misleading or fraudulent application materials (e.g., fabricating credentials).
• Probe, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service, or circumvent usage limits and rate limits.
• Resell the service or share one account across multiple people.
• Upload content you don't have the right to use, or anything unlawful.

Job Board listings are fetched from public sources and belong to their respective employers and platforms; they are provided for your personal job search only.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResuLens is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can stop using ResuLens and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (your content ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. Questions: support@resulens.com.
